Former Ruins Biography
Indiana-based solo act Former Ruins (Levi Dylan Sikes) has gained a local reputation for hear-a-pin-drop live performances while blurring the lines between 80s post-punk and salt-of-the-earth balladry.
With lyric-driven arrangements punctured by atmospheric guitar work, Levi carves deep angles into the familiar singer-songwriter genre, inviting listeners into a world of devotion, mercy, difficulty, and wonder.
His third LP, In Your Field, releases 9/9/2025 on his own independent imprint Slow Embrace Records.
