KRÖNA Biography
Kröna is a punk-rock trio originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Since forming in April 2024, Cristóbal (bass/vocals), JP (guitar/vocals) and Chino (drums) have blended breakneck hardcore, syncopated reggae and Afro-Caribbean rhythms into a dance-pit sound all their own.
After tracking drums at Miami’s Red Dot Recording, they spent six days at Boston’s Mad Oak Studios with Grammy-nominated producer Benny Grotto—capturing the raw energy heard on their BlackRock Coast (2024) and Take Em’ All (2025) EPs. Their debut LP, Dead Air Diaries, arrives November 22, 2025 via Merenpón Records.
Kröna’s high-voltage live shows have headlined Santo Domingo’s Destrucción Masiva and Isle of Light festivals, and seen them share stages with Incubus, Strung Out, Belvedere and more across the U.S. and Latin America. Offstage, they give back through Donde La Abuela Fest, a DIY showcase in Santo Domingo that spotlights emerging punk talent. Driven by a relentless DIY spirit, Kröna continues to tour, record and amplify Caribbean punk worldwide.
