Ice Sealed Eyes Biography
ICE SEALED EYES is a Belgian New Core band that stands out for its ability to fuse elements of ambient metal with various influences, creating an original and immersive musical experience. Ice Sealed Eyes has recently released an ambitious and conceptual trilogy of EPs.
Vol.1: Torments, Vol.2: Fragments, and Vol.3: Laments are not just EPs but musical journeys that explore deep and introspective themes. Each EP is a standalone work, yet they are all connected by the recurring motif of butterflies, symbols of transformation and fragility. The covers of these EPs, featuring these special butterflies, add a visual dimension to the auditory experience.
Vol.3: Laments is the final installment of the trilogy, is an exploration of the human mind, visualized as a series of fantastical gardens. These gardens, connected by mirrors symbolizing our self-perception, reflect varied and complex emotional states.
The development of this trilogy has been a collective process, with each member bringing their influences, ranging from Deftones, Thornhill and Loathe to Jorja Smith and Lorn.
