Snap! Biography
SNAP! (Penny Ford) is a pioneering German Eurodance project formed by producers Michael Münzing and Luca Anzilotti in 1989. American vocalist Penny Ford became the face and voice of SNAP! during their most successful period, delivering powerful vocals on massive hits like "The Power" (1990) and "Rhythm Is a Dancer" (1992). Both singles reached #1 in multiple countries and helped establish the Eurodance genre globally. Ford's dynamic stage presence and vocal range were integral to SNAP!'s breakthrough success. The fusion of hip-hop, house, and pop created a blueprint that influenced dance music for decades.
