Andrew Shapiro

Andrew Shapiro, the renowned Brooklyn composer, has announced his 11th studio album entitled “Soft-Shapes” releasing Friday, October 17th. It features Shapiro at the piano creating a landscape of ambient, classical, minimalist and intelligently soothing compositions. To mark the occasion, on Sunday, October 19th, he will perform selections from the new album along with highlights from his extensive solo piano catalog. About this new project Shapiro says: “It’s my first album in nine years…and I happen to have a nine year old son at home….there’s certainly a coincidence there!”
