Freedom LA is SoCal's BIGGEST Japanese music festival! Held in the OC Japan Fair, Freedom LA brings some of Japan's top artists to the states along with 100s of Japanese and Asian food vendors along with cultural events like the Lantern Release Event, Oiran Parade, Cosplay Contest, Idol Festival, and more. Founded by Japanese singer-songwriter MINMI, Freedom Festival was launched in 2008 on the scenic Awaji Island in Japan. With over 600,000 attendees across its Japanese editions, Freedom Festival has made its way to the U.S. and partnered with OC Japan Fair as FREEDOM LA, bridging global artistry through music, food, and culture!
