WOOED

WOOED is a band from Southsea, Portsmouth, that weaves together alt-indie rock, heavy neo-psychedelia, and the melodic ache of ’90s emo. Formed by old friends Jack Stanton (vocals, guitars), Ash Curtis (bass), and Dai Howells (drums) in 2023, their sound is emotionally raw yet richly textured and hits with both intensity and intimacy.

Born from the DIY scene, WOOED channels the restless energy of post-hardcore and the ethos of independent punk, then shoves it down the throat of lush indie rock and ethereal kosmiche without ever losing its grit. Their frenzied live shows are a blur of blood, sweat, and catharsis and shouldn’t be missed.

The band’s upcoming sophomore EP, ‘Trademark Changes of Heart’, is due for release this summer.
