The Callbirds (UK)

It was mid-2022 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Isaac (lead vocalist and bass player) met Will (guitarist and vocalist) at a popular local open mic night. He subsequently asked Will to play guitar in a band he was putting together for an appearance at Lakefest Music Festival in the summer of 2022, with the hope of forming a new group to play locally too. They played a mixture of classic rock and roll covers as well as several of Isaac’s own compositions.

Having played together for just over a year, the trio decided they might like to make some recordings, so they sent some demo tracks to a local recording studio. These demos ended up in the hands of producer Silva, who suggested they make more than just a few recordings to sell at pub gigs. Their first single, Small Talk, was released during their UK tour supporting Clearwater Creedence Revival in 2024. The group has more in their back pocket... But all that is to come!
