Hypno Toads Biography
Hypno Toads is a platform for underrepresented amphibians.
An emerging band from San Diego with origins that span across the country. Initially created through a Craigslist ad, Jason Bloom (guitar, vocals) found Tom K (drums) online with the intentions of jamming together. Tom eventually brought in Jacob Schauwecker (keys, vocals) who he met through a family friend at a local brewery, and Anthony Serino (former bass), a friend from childhood. Anthony introduced the rest of the band to Mike Williams (guitar) before moving back to the east coast. Through a few iterations at bass (shoutout Inas!), the band was introduced to Tylor Farnsworth (bass, vocals, producer) through Jason who met Tylor at a skatepark. Thus completing the version of Hypno Toads you hear before you: Jason, Tom, Jacob, Mike, Tylor.
Hypno Toads has been rehearsing, writing and jamming in Mike’s garage since 2022. With heavy influences from Rock, Punk, Ska, Classics, Blues and more, Hypno Toads create an eclectic rock sound that is sure to capture your attention, evoke unlikely comparisons, and leave you wanting more.
