Award winning Australian musicians (14 x music awards in 4 countries) and sound healers: Peter D. Harper and Bobbi Llewellyn- Harper present a sonic meditational soundscape featuring the ancient Australian Indigenous instrument - the Didgeridoo (Mako/ Yidaki). Peter has received permission and a blessing from First Nations clan elders to play this sacred instrument. Peter and Bobbi incorporate mesmerizing male/ female vocal intonations and harmonies using power vowels/ words which bring participants into a deep state of mediation. The Didgeridoo / Singing Ceremony has been used for thousands of years to help the Indigenous people of Australia to find their way across the land as they literally sing manifestation into existence. Everything is frequency and so when we tune into the frequency of the land, we can manifest what we need. The frequency range alters our brainwaves to a state of deep relaxation through what is known as brainwave entrainment. The sound can be felt and heard and works on all levels to bring you back to a state of what is natural. The Australian indigenous message sticks, Navajo – The Dine` traditional drum, Native American “love” Flute, drone flute, crystal singing bowls, harmonica, tongue drum and keyboard drones are also included in their inspirational and healing sound scape. Each instrument is performed with intention, creating a symphony of ethereal vibrations that nurture the mind, body, and soul. Their offerings create an immersive experience that transports participants towards a state of deep inner peace. Peter and Bobbi have performed in the USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, United Kingdom, The Caribbean, Asia and China.

This is the fourth time I have seen Harper perform...and he never disappoints!
It is nice to see (and hear) a local artist that performs his own creations and not
just another ho-hum cover band.
This is the first time I have been to BLUEStage Jams, but will definitely not be my last.
My wife and I (and a couple of friends) had a blast! The food and drinks were reasonably priced
(you can't beat a $3 beer!). The sound and acoustics were better than expected considering the venue is a remodeled automotive garage (I think).
I highly recommend this place for a fun night of good music. I know that I'll be back!

Harper and Midwest Kind Biography
Award-winning Australian singer/songwriter/ Instrumentalist: Peter D. Harper -- known in the music world, as "Harper", possesses a powerful soulful voice and a deep, almost mystical approach to the roots genre. His Latest release "Rise Up" is an expansive musical and lyrical journey, stirred up with masterful harp and the earthy, woody, percussive tones of the didgeridoo. “RISE UP” and the highly acclaimed “Show Your Love”, both reached # 3 on the Billboard Blues Charts and stayed in the top ten for 6 months. Peter D Harper has received 14 x Music Awards in 4 different countries.
Harper's musical journey began early, performing in brass bands playing the trumpet and euphonium. At the age of ten, his family moved half way round the world to Perth, Western Australia, and his Grandfather introduced Harper to the harmonica. In Perth, one of the most isolated cities in the world, there was a thriving blues and folk scene. The blues had a rawness, an honesty and a passion of the soul which spoke to Harper deeply. Upon adding the Australian indigenous instrument of didgeridoo, Harper created a tribal rootsy feel to his music. The deep woody qualities and its haunting drone seemed to enhance the emotional quality of his stories.
Harper and Midwest Kind Sound Journey is the next phase in Peter ‘s musical evolution. Joining with his wife Bobbi Llewellyn- Harper, they have created an immersive inspirational soundscape and sound healing experience.
Australian musician /sound healer: Bobbi Llewellyn- Harper is a classically trained singer and pianist who has a Bachelor of Music Education / Therapy degree. She has toured 25 countries as a singer and manager of the award winning band “ Harper and Midwest Kind”. Bobbi and Peter have presented their didgeridoo workshops / sound therapy and sound bath events to all age levels, special needs children and adults, post traumatic stress veterans (Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan), at risk youth and cancer / MS patients.
Their passion for healing has taken them on an expansive personal and spiritual journey. Their sound bath experiences incorporate male/ female vocal intonations/ harmonies, Australian indigenous message sticks, Navajo – The Dine` traditional drum, Native American “love” Flute, crystal singing bowls, tongue drum and keyboard drones. Their personal mantra is "Love=Peace=Freedom".
