Voor het seizoen 2025/2026 presenteert Philippe Elan een gloedvolle nieuwe show. De successen in Concertgebouw Amsterdam in 2023 en 2024 hebben zijn focus op het wezen en de dynamische kracht van het Franse chanson versterkt en hem ervan doordrongen hoe diep dat Franse chanson toeschouwers raakt en kan ontroeren. Het repertoire vormt een nieuwe combinatie van oudere en nieuwere chansons. Albums waaruit hij kan putten zijn daarbij ‘Ma France’, ‘Quelques mots d’amour’, gearrangeerd en samengesteld door Philip en Erik Verwey en uit het met Gregor Bak samengestelde programma ‘Chansons’. Pareltjes waar Elan als het ware zijn vocale vernislaag op aanbrengt waardoor ze nog meer gaan glanzen. De vaste begeleider van Elan, Erik Verwey, begeleidt Philippe beurtelings aan de vleugel en op akoestisch gitaar.

Philippe Elan Biography
Philippe Elan was born in Gascogne, south-west France in 1960 and came to live in the Netherlands in 1986. That year he made a flying start by winning the chanson competition of the Alliance Française.
Since then, he has been a much-seen interpreter of French chanson, with which he can be seen in theaters year after year with solo programs together with arranger, producer and permanent accompanist Reyer Zwart. He also performs with artists such as Gregor Bak and Cor Bakker.
