About this concert
What once started as a refresher for the Nijmegen drum & bass scene grew into one of the most eccentric and creative party concepts in the country. From gabber clowns to dancing dinosaurs: WTF always guaranteed surprises, chaos, and a hefty dose of bass. But now it’s time to close the book. This very last edition is a tribute to everything WTF was — and still is. Don’t miss it.

TANTRON Biography
Hailing from the Netherlands, 23-year-old TANTRON is rapidly gaining traction in the global drum and
bass scene. From banging on pots and pans as a toddler to performing on stages worldwide, music
has always been Hugo's driving passion. With his electrifying stage presence, innovative sound design
and a distinctive appearance, TANTRON is known for his hyperactive performances, signature sound
and iconic bucket hat — not to mention his quirky obsession with apples.
Despite only discovering Drum ‘n Bass in 2019, TANTRON quickly mastered the genre during his
studies at the Rockacademie in Tilburg. Drawing on years of experience in other EDM-genres such as
trap, hardstyle, and house, he refined his sound and identity throughout the pandemic. By 2023,
TANTRON had already secured major achievements, including support from the Black Eyed Peas for
his bootleg of Pump It and his first mainstage performance at Rampage Open Air.
2024 was the year that proved pivotal for TANTRON. Early in the year, his bootleg of Baddadan went
viral, propelling his name further into the drum and bass scene. This success was followed by his first
international headline tour in New Zealand, which included an interview and DJ set on George FM.
Other standout releases included a collaboration with Arcando on Martin Garrix’s prestigious label,
STMPD Records, as well as remixes for ShockOne and Futurebound and a debut release on AC13’s
new label Alpha Circuit. To cap off the year, TANTRON released his first sample pack in collaboration
with KULTURE Samples.
Looking ahead to 2025, TANTRON shows no signs of slowing down. With collaborations underway
with Luude, P Money, DROELOE, a remix for the RAMPAGE-bossman Murdock, and a bunch of solo-
projects in the works, he stays on the hunt for fresh sounds and continues to solidify his place in the
drum and bass world. One thing is clear: TANTRON is here to stay.
