Mat Elliott is a Halifax based artist blending indie soul, Doobie Bros-era yacht rock, and sharp songwriting into something distinctly his own. With clean guitar work, tight arrangements, and pointed lyrics, he sounds like the musical lovechild of Tom Misch, Michael McDonald, and Still Woozy if they were in a power thruple.
