Syot Biography
Nostalgia, authenticity, and hopeless love.
Inspired by Motown and the organic sound of '70s soul, but with the modern production of contemporary artists like Steve Lacy and Mk.gee, Syot has a sound that appeals to both children and their parents. Heavenly falsettos, organic analog synthesizers, and Prince-inspired guitar tones. Their lyrics express their support for all the hopeless romantics among us. Perhaps with a toxic edge?
The four-piece band was formed in 2023 from a collaboration between three conservatory classmates, after which a friend from Düsseldorf joined. Eighteen months later, Syot evolved from a producer collective into an infectious band and a strong brotherhood.
This fall, they'll be performing at Popronde as one of the 3voor12 Talents!
