The New Revenge Biography
Forged in the heat of Bakersfield, California’s underground, The New Revenge delivers a striking fusion of cinematic metalcore and unrelenting hardcore energy. Fronted by Trenten Revenge (vocals, piano, guitar) alongside Justin Pitman (drums) and Lynx Phelps (bass), the band crafts a sound that is both massive and immersive, drawing comparisons to Slayer, Sleep Token, and Knocked Loose, while forging an identity entirely their own.
Their second album, Hereafter (released June 13, 2025), plunges listeners into a fully realized apocalyptic world, blending analogue horror aesthetics, cryptic lore, and emotionally charged lyricism. Singles like Fallen Seraphim, Cold War Home, and Warren Hope have already become staples of the band’s live set, with Fallen Seraphim accompanied by a visually stunning official music video directed by Bakersfield Sound Co.'s Drew Martin.
For The New Revenge, “Revenge” is more than retaliation—it’s transformation. It’s the act of taking pain, loss, and betrayal and forging them into something unbreakable. From bone-rattling breakdowns to sweeping, cinematic soundscapes, they create an experience that grips both the ears and the imagination.
Whether on stage or in the studio, The New Revenge stands as a voice for those navigating the ruins, proving that even in endings, there’s power in rebuilding.
