It’ll be good to be back here. Within moments of me reaching out to Evangeline’s this time around I read they’d been clobbered by a tornado and I swiftly followed up with my best wishes and an apology for bugging them – but they wrote back and said they were gonna be back on their feet by the time we came around and we were welcome with open arms. It doesn’t get better than that.
Well, except their food is really awesome too. So yeah, it actually IS even better than that!

ilyAIMY Biography
Bait shops, biker weeks, folk fests and clothing-optional resorts - Baltimore’s ilyAIMY (i love you And I Miss You) has played it ALL nationwide for more than two decades. Similarly adventurous songwriters, audiences should expect everything from barbershop to beatboxing, innovative acoustic guitar, and rapid-fire lyricism softened by cello and lush harmonies. ilyAIMY's live performances can be anywhere from a duo to a sextet - the full band also features drum kit, keyboard, and additional percussion. With honors from Kerrville NewFolk, Telluride Bluegrass, FreshGrass, Falcon Ridge Folk, NERFA, SERFA and the Washington Area Music Association, ilyAIMY is an award-winning “welcome jolt in folk.”
“Imagine, if you will, the rhythm section of Earth Wind and Fire teamed up with the folk sensibilities of Steeleye Span and you will have ilyAIMY.” - Vance Gilbert
"ilyAIMY ain't your grandpa's folk music - and thank goodness. They are fearless writers and performers. Heather Lloyd's voice is enough for me. Voices this rich and emotionally hard-hitting - equal parts velvet darkness, barely contained heartbreak, and hard-won, unstoppable joy - don't come around often. Sing me the phone book - I'll ask for an encore." - Pat Wictor, folk supergroup Brother Sun
