Emily Wurramara is an ARIA award-winning singer/songwriter/producer. She has gained a reputation for her captivating and enchanting performances, which have earned her numerous accolades and recognition across the country.
Her debut album "Milyakburra" was nominated for an ARIA award and won an AIR award. Emily has also won 4 Queensland Music Awards and the AMP Tomorrow Maker award. She has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music, including @Rob Thomas , Jack Johnson, and @Mavis Staples @Midnight Oil, Missy Higgins, Yothu Yindi and Paul Kelly. She has collaborated with the likes of the @The Wiggles and @Nick Littlemore (PNAU, Empire of the sun) Kutcha Edwards The Boy Of Many Colors and Drmngnow.
Her music explores themes of self-acceptance and ancestral lullabies. Emily is a storyteller, she reaches deep into ancient memory unlocking and reminding us all to feel, deeply.
Her music has been described as honest, inspiring, and ancient, with Emily being dubbed one of the most inspiring Indigenous artists in the country.
