Loopy Tunes Preschool Music Biography

Loopy Tunes (Preschool) Music are Ōtautahi-based sister music duo, Siu and Leah.
With ancestral links to the largest Māori tribe in Aotearoa, Ngāpuhi, and the friendly islands of Tonga, the sisters bring a cultural vibe to the children's music world, and are recognised for their reorua/bilingual Māori and Pasifika children’s waiata, sung in their beautifully harmonious style.

Since the release of their debut album, in 2019, the duo have released over 170 children's songs that are loved by families all around the globe! They have enjoyed collaborations with their fellow Kiwi Kids Music friends (New Zealand's very own children's music collective!), including Itty Bitty Beats, fleaBITE and Aotearoa's fave, Whaea Suzy Cato!
Their favourite project to-date is the "Pasifika Beatz" series, which was a collaborative effort with Whānau Āwhina Plunket, with support from the Ministry for Pacific Peoples - 10 albums in 10 pacific languages, each with 10 songs per album, accompanied by action and lyric videos on their YouTube channel. Languages include well-known Samoan, Tongan and Māori, as well as lesser known Kiribati, Rotuman, and Tuvaluan languages.

They are excited to soon be releasing the first taster of their upcoming album release, entitled, "Mā: Matariki for Tamariki", a collection of songs teaching tamariki/children all about the season of Matariki, that happens around June/July, here in Aotearoa, which is a time to...
- whakamaumahara | to remember
- whakanui | to celebrate
- whakariterite |to prepare
