Tamarae Biography
Paris-based singer, guitarist, and producer Tamarae crafts introspective, dreamy songs. Raised in the Netherlands by a Dutch father and a Hungarian mother from Slovakia, her music blends alternative pop, soul, and ethereal production into a sound that reflects her journey.
Her formal training in jazz vocals and guitar at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague provided a foundation she has since transcended, informing the sophisticated textures of her current work. Her 2024 EP ‘Dreams’ (recorded at Wisseloord Studios) delves into pandemic-era vulnerability, followed by EU tours and supporting Alfa Mist. Previously, her debut album ‘The Ocean Knows’ (2022) aired on BBC Jazz World.
