Son Stone Biography
Son Stone are musical storytellers with a sharp lyrical edge and a rich sonic aesthetic. Blending gritty Americana, soulful rock, and poetic folk, their songs take listeners on deeply personal and often unexpected journeys. "Dime Store Mannequin" is their latest work -— a bold and vividly produced album that showcases both their songwriting range and a profound commitment to telling truths that matter.
The band has opened for Jorma Kaukonen (Hot Tuna / Jefferson Airplane), played with David Gans (SiriusXM host, Grateful Dead historian, author, and independent musician). Their lyrics have been featured in American Songwriter magazine. Lyrical Odyssey notes the bands "impeccable storyteller chops, packing the dry humor of John Prine and the whiskey-soaked soul of Tom Waits."
