Matt Monroe

Born in Montgomery, Alabama, Matt Monroe began his music career playing clubs and venues across the southeast while attending high school. 
 From a very early age, he taught himself how to play guitar and started performing at jazz and blues clubs as a teenager. Yet, after a friend's tragic accident, he left the music scene.

In all uncertainty, he pursued a college degree. He has since taught computer classes for the blind, sailed the coast of Florida, and has written over 150 songs. His music reflects his journey through life and is designed to inspire and uplift listeners. 
 In 2007, he moved to Jacksonville, Florida. He continued to write and record music and is on his expedition to drop his first-ever Indie Folk album.
