Hi Phil, My wife and I recently attended Eastgate as guests, and we’ve felt led this week to officially join the Eastgate family, we will be going forward this Sunday to join the congregation. I’ve also felt called to continue developing my music skills and to keep writing songs that praise God's work. Your life’s ministry has truly been an inspiration to me. I believe we may have attended the same high school—I graduated from Raytown in 1987. I have a few friends who graduated with you, including Robb Behymer. I actually shared with him this week about you and your wife’s powerful witness and ministry. I just wanted to thank you for your ministry and the impact it’s had on my heart. I’d also love to speak with you about songwriting. I’ve written several poems and songs, though I haven’t yet set them to music.
