Charm & humor is also something that ‘APPLETON’ certainly brings to the show making the show always engaging and entertaining, an art of frontman that is not seen very often anymore… ‘ABSOLVA’ have released 7 studio albums & 2 live albums in their 12 year history. (Formed 2012) Accompanied by ‘TOM ATKINSON’, who is an imposing & powerful guitar player sharing rhythm and lead guitar duties who goes on to complement ‘CHRIS APPLETON’ with some electrifying guitar work and harmony vocals. This results in the delightful impact of the ‘TWIN-GUITAR-ATTACK’ and harmony guitars reminiscent of ‘IRON MAIDEN’ & ‘THIN LIZZY’ at their best. The ABSOLVA rhythm section is made up of the true hard rock drummer ‘MARTIN ‘The Machine’ MCNEE’ who is often described as the love child of ‘JOHN BONHAM’ & ‘BILL WARD’, bringing technique, groove & skill. Alongside APPLETON’s brother and possibly one of the best bass players in the rock world today, ‘LUKE APPLETON’ with his undeniable nod to his influences of ‘IRON MAIDEN’, ‘JUDAS PRIEST’ & ‘MEGADETH’. To accompany the outstanding musicianship and performances, Absolva has the impressive weapons of awesome riffs, melodies, fretboard theatrics, with the treasured gift of truly memorable songs.
