Matt Mann and The Shine Runners

Matt Mann & The Shine Runners are an American rock band residing in Nashville, TN, formed by singer/songwriter and Oklahoma native, Matt Mann. With influences ranging from the Rolling Stones, Skynryd, The Black Crowes, Social D, and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Matt Mann & The Shine Runners deliver their brand of raucous and memorable rock and roll music to enthusiastic crowds. Their bluesy, boozy, two guitar rock sounds transports listeners back into the early seventies, making their music timeless.

The Shine Runners include Mann on rhythm guitar, Johnny Hawthorn/Hunter Wolfe on lead guitar, Jeff LeGore on bass and Shane Mayo on the drums. Peter Levin from the Greg Allman Band, Blind Boys of Alabama and Amanda Shires played B3 organ and upright piano on Anytime But Now and the soon to be released, Wrong Side of History.

The highly anticipated Wrong Side of History album showcases the band’s signature heavy guitar rock and roll sound across diverse, well-written tracks, complemented by memorable drums, slide guitar, and keys. Backup singers Angela Primm and Gayle Mayes definitely “take you to church”.
