DELTONA Biography
Deltona is a country trio carving out their own lane—rooted in tradition, wired for the modern era, and loud enough to make Nashville take notice. With a sound that fuses gritty Southern storytelling, rock-driven riffs, and arena-ready melodies, Deltona delivers music that feels both familiar and electric.
Frontman Ned Abernathy, raised in Calhoun, Georgia, brings a fresh vocal edge and a sharp lyrical voice shaped by a mix of Alan Jackson, Post Malone, and Sam Hunt. A self-taught guitarist and songwriter, Ned’s journey began in college-town bars and backroom gigs, culminating in a decisive move to Nashville to chase the real thing.
Drummer Chris Deaton, a Franklin, Tennessee native born into the heart of Music City, fuels Deltona’s sound with tight grooves and studio savvy. The son of a country music video director, Chris grew up behind the scenes of Nashville’s biggest names and later worked alongside artists like Lainey Wilson, Zac Brown, and Ross Copperman—building a reputation for his creative energy and collaborative spirit.
On guitar, Caleb Miller brings the fire. Hailing from Portsmouth, Ohio, Caleb grew up onstage with his dad’s Christian rock band and was gigging by age 12. A multi-instrumentalist with a love for Jason Aldean and Keith Urban, his playing injects every Deltona song with the power and precision of rock and the soul of classic country.
Together, Deltona is unapologetically loud, unshakably tight, and unmistakably authentic. With songs that hit hard and stick around, they’re aiming for country radio, sold-out shows, and a lasting legacy. The trio’s debut single, first live shows, and upcoming album are all in motion—so get ready.
As Ned puts it: “You have to listen to this shit.”
