Home Grown Biography
Home Grown is a pop-punk band from Orange County, California, known for their catchy melodies, tongue-in-cheek lyrics, and high-energy live shows. Formed in 1994, they quickly made a mark on the Southern California punk scene with albums like That’s Business, Act Your Age, and Kings of Pop, along with fan-favorite tracks such as “Surfer Girl,” “Give It Up,” and “You’re Not Alone.” The band toured relentlessly, playing alongside Blink-182, New Found Glory, and Warped Tour staples, before parting ways in 2005 and cementing their place as one of the era’s cult pop-punk favorites.
In June 2024, nearly two decades later, Home Grown reunited to open for The Starting Line, followed by a sold-out headlining show at the Glass House in Pomona. Now featuring original members Adam Lohrbach, John “Johnee Trash” Tran, and Dan Reynolds, the band is back with plans to play shows into 2025, including Slam Dunk Festival. With renewed energy and a loyal fanbase, Home Grown is reconnecting with old fans and reaching a new generation—proving that their music still hits just as hard.
