Aigestu Biography
Aigetsu is a jazz singer from Ishigaki Island, Okinawa, Japan, known for passionately mastering a wide range of styles, from swing and Bossa nova to blues and Latin jazz.
Moving and deeply expressive, her voice is often described as emotional, immersive, and even tear-inducing.
Each song she sings paints a vivid picture, touching the hearts of listeners with warmth and sincerity.
She is also known for her jazz singing technique called Vocalise, which is a kind of scat with lyrics.
In Okinawa, she played vocals, drums, and guitar in a rock band, and after moving to Tokyo, she also sang in a funk band.
Since June 2022, she has been performing as a vocalist at jazz clubs.
