The Utopiates Biography
Following on from the recent success of their debut album ‘The Sun Also Rises’ (released in May 2023) London outift The Utopiates are out to prove they are one of the most prolific new bands out there at the minute. Signed to V2 Records they’ve spent the first part of 2024 recording and mixing 11 brand new tracks at The Nave in Leeds (Yard Act, Kaiser Chiefs) and are ready to hit the ground running in September with a batch of fresh new songs.
The Utopiates were formed under the dark clouds of the pandemic and only launched in January 2021 but already the accolades are stacking up from the likes of Steve Lamacq (BBC Radio 6 Music), John Kennedy (Radio X) and selling out the prolific 100 Club in London.
