About this concert
Excited to welcome East Nash Grass to The Ramkat on November 9, 2025, with special guest AJ Lee & Blue Summit! Early show, doors at 6 PM, show at 7 PM. Tickets go on sale at noon Eastern this Friday, July 18, 2025, at TheRamkat.com! Bluegrass is hot, and East Nash Grass and AJ Lee & Blue Summit are two of the hottest collections of young bluegrass talent you'll find anywhere in America. Part of bluegrass' fourth wave, these are musicians who've grown up at the feet of the bluegrass masters, but see the genre through a wider lens, incorporating not just Americana and stringband sensibilities, but rock, pop, R&B, and other flavors that take their music far beyond traditional bluegrass fare, without losing the essence of what gives bluegrass its heart. Best of all, when you put two groups like this together on the road, you can be sure they'll cook up something special for every show — musicians of this caliber just can't help but be inspired by each other. Might as well start getting excited now.  #eastnashgrass #ajleeandbluesummit #theramkat #wsnc #supportlivemusic

East Nash Grass Biography

Forged in the boiling cauldron of Madison, TN— behold: East Nash Grass. Begin with the ardent power of Harry Clark’s mandolin chop, steadily bounding forward like a locomotive engine on the Arkansas Southern. Add the silky voice of James Kee, whirring effortlessly through the mountains of East Tennessee. Sprinkle a few dashes of Cory Walker’s traditional banjo rolls, morphing with ease into a face-melting flurry of harmonic ferocity. Stir to combine. As the pot boils, we work in Gaven Largent; a dobro-wielding wolf-man with the voice of a mountain bluebird and a great hat collection. And don’t forget a hearty dose of industrial strength fiddle tempest from the molten bow of Maddie Denton. Almost ready! To finish it off, we add Jeff Picker— caressing the bass, surveying the scene, steadfastly navigating the crew through the storm to calm waters. Now you’re ready to serve “Last Chance to Win”: the latest album from East Nash Grass. Available everywhere Fall 2023.
