Emerging from the ashes of Orgy, founding members Amir Derakh and Ryan Shuck continued with a sound familiar to any fan of their former group. Ominous, dark, and a little sexy, their earliest material arrived in 2003, while their official debut album, Death to Analog, landed in 2009. The band's sophomore LP, We're Here with You, arrived in 2012. Relying on successful crowdfunding, Julien-K released the two-part California Noir series in 2014 and 2015, and delivered their fifth album, Harmonic Disruptor, in 2020. The band has now become one of the most successful direct to fan crowd funding acts in the world, with their 6th “all electronic” album DRK|MODE on track to be released in 2024.
