Shigge Biography
Beat Maker / DJ / Founder of YesterdayOnceMore
Shigge has released five digital EPs and the nationally acclaimed album "burn out" in 2017, along with the second album, 'Silver Smoker,' in 2021, all under his self-founded internet label "YesterdayOnceMore."
His collaborations with AmPm and Snowk, as well as remixes for Carpainter, starRo, Lerue, have received widespread acclaim. "burn out" was selected as Apple Music's 'New Artist of the Week.'
In 2019, his activities as a label owner and artist were featured by the cultural media outlet "VICE JAPAN," creating a buzz. Collaborating with Fukuoka-based DJ/Producer BRISA in 2019 as Ohnesty, their EP 'Time To Be Honest' gained industry recognition, with the track 'Vortex' receiving airplay on BBC RADIO 6 Salami Rose Joe Louis and new sounds of Japan hosted by Gilles Peterson, earning global attention. In 2020, Ohnesty's second EP, 'Movin' On,' was released on vinyl by the emerging UK label 'High Ball.' In October of the same year, Shigge, alongside producer/DJ group Snowk and Malaysian singer Froya, released 'Sunrise' on the France-based label 'Kitsuné Musique.'
Currently hard at work on his third album.
