Samyula

Samanta Yubero, also known as “Samyula”, is a neoclassical composer, pianist and neuroscientist based in Barcelona, ​​Spain. She is coming to Portugal to present her latest album Ethereal, which has already been streamed millions of times around the world. Samyula graduated as a classical pianist from the Conservatory of Music and throughout her life has combined musical composition with studies in science, obtaining a PhD in Neuroscience. Samyula’s music is characterized by beautiful and moving piano melodies, sometimes with string arrangements, presenting a melodic dialogue between the different instruments. Her compositions are reminiscent of the work of contemporary artists such as Olafur Arnalds, Goldmund or Nils Frahm, while maintaining roots in minimalism such as Arvo Part or La Monte Young and unconditional classics such as Ludovico Einaudi and Michael Nyman. Through her music, Samyula seeks to provide a space for inspiration; so that people can disconnect from daily stress and connect with their inner self, their dreams and offer their talents and potential in everything they do in their private and professional lives. In 2021, she released the album “Daylight”, in which her compositions were widely accepted on streaming platforms and moved thousands of listeners around the world. This was followed by the album “Forward” in 2023 and the EP “When It's Time to Go” in 2024.
