The concert was amazing! Kevin is such a great performer. Not only is he exceptional at singing and playing the guitar, but he is also incredibly charismatic, and his storytelling between songs feels like a long conversation that hooks you from beginning to end. The duo with Liniers is out of this world. Liniers creates amazing art while Kevin sings, adding so much to the show! His sense of humor had the whole audience bursting into tears, constantly surprised by his creativity. They truly complement each other, making it a night to remember.

Kevin Johansen Biography
Born in Alaska. Now lives in Argentina. Participated in Womad 2005

And not necessarily from one song to the next, either. It offers new revelations with each listen, and the more studied you are in language and music, the more you're likely to appreciate Johansen's talent. This is exactly the sort of highly literate, multicultural music, the more that critics and bohemians live for..." Jason Birchmeier
