Moondogs is a psychedelic rock band from Burlington, Vermont, blending elements of alternative, funk, progressive, and jam music into an original sound centered around creative songwriting and energetic performances. Over the past three and a half years, the band has honed its act at classic Vermont venues like Nectar’s and Higher Ground, as well as elsewhere across New England. Their recently released record ‘Trialogues’, recorded at Berklee studios in Boston, exemplifies the dynamic interplay of the band's musicianship, and the collaborative compositions that are defining the young group’s distinct artistic voice.

Moondogs is a psychedelic rock band from Burlington, Vermont, blending
elements of alternative, funk, progressive, and jam music into an original
sound centered around creative songwriting and energetic performances
from the trio of musicians. Over the past three and a half years, the band
has honed its act at classic Vermont venues like Nectar’s and Higher Ground,
as well as elsewhere across New England. Their recently released record
‘Trialogues’, recorded at Berklee studios in Boston, exemplifies the dynamic
interplay of the trio’s musicianship, and the collaborative compositions that
are defining the young group’s distinct artistic voice.

Consisting of Will Sturcke on vocals and guitar, David Battit on bass, and Jimmy Martucci on drums, the band’s newest album is a true dialogue between these three musicians... ...Trialogues is certainly a timeless album, bringing in considerable influences from 1970s psychedelic rock, but turning it into something incredibly ethereal and modern. Sturcke’s guitar and Battit’s bass complement each other perfectly, while Martucci’s drums lead without stepping over any toes.
