Rebecca Turmel Biography
Rebecca Turmel originally dreamed of a career in musical theatre, but she discovered her true calling while teaching herself to play the guitar and crafting adaptations of her favorite songs. She spent three years performing live as a cover artist, and in 2020, she took a bold leap of faith by quitting her day job to pursue a full-time career in music. Two years later, she decided to take another step forward and embark on her songwriting journey. Her debut single, “Am I Missing Something,” has over 10,000 streams on Spotify, showcasing her talent for creating infectious tunes and relatable narratives, even in the early stages of her songwriting career. Rebecca Turmel's music is a captivating blend of her diverse influences and love of many genres. Her voice, a remarkable fusion of strength and vulnerability, is a powerful instrument that creates personal connections with her audience through her music and storytelling.
