Featuring: Bernard Alexander – alto saxophone Darrin Archer – piano Tom Lee – bass Danny Fischer – drums Tenor saxophonist Anton Delecca’s music is soulful and passionate, drawing from a diverse range of influences including folk, gospel, spiritual jazz, 70s acid fusion and music from the current NYC jazz scene. Joining Anton tonight will be rising star alto saxophonist Bernard Alexander. The rhythm section features three of his long term collaborators, all leading jazz musicians in their own right, Darrin Archer – piano, Danny Fischer – drums and Tom Lee – bass. Delecca was based in New York from 2017-19 where he recorded his new album ‘The Offering’. The album features international rising star and Blue Note recording artist, alto saxophonist Immanuel Wilkins and is released on Earshift Music. The repertoire will consist of music from the new album along with new compositions and arrangements by Delecca. This is a Melbourne Jazz Co-Op sponsored performance. $45
