Dylan Taganas Biography
Dylan Taganas, from Long Island, NY, is a 22-year-old multi-instrumentalist who is currently experimenting with songwriting and making music. He aims to combine elements of genres like classical rock, modern and psychedelic pop, folk, jazz, progressive, and metal to mold them into one centerpiece. The lyrics are personal, introspective thoughts, mainly scattered in the mind of a perfectionist.
It all came to the test when he released his hard-rocking first single, "Feelings' Blues," in July of 2020. And more than a year later, he released his mellow second single, "I Hoped, I Wondered," which was written as a eulogy. "Drained" was pushed into punk-metal fusion territory, which was a song he wrote back in 2022 but released in 2024. Recently, he released "Leave Me Cut," a mix of groove rock and pop.
As a performer his whole life, Dylan had been in different bands growing up and opened for Filipino artists such as Aegis, Pops Fernandez, Sharon Cuneta, Arnel Pineda, and Bamboo. He also opened up for the Gin Blossoms and shared the stage with their frontman, Robin Wilson. Dylan is currently playing bass in the punk band 2/14 and alt-rock band, Anything Ever.
