Tower Rats

Emerging from the shadows of Fresno, California’s Tower District, Tower Rats is a melodic and energetic indie punk band that has been shaped by decades of DIY ethos and each member’s personal journeys of musical growth and exploration. Formed in 2022, members of Tower Rats have long performed in local and touring bands such as From Indian Lakes, Watashi Wa, Eager Seas, The Martyrs, Elmo Marconi, The Broken Spine, Old Tire Swingers, The Scarred, Airplane To Nowhere, and many more.

Tower Rats take cues from a diverse range of bands, including Jawbreaker, Pup, Culture Abuse, and Jeff Rosenstock, as well as from the cultural influence of Fresno’s Tower District.

Tower Rats take pride in their first release produced by Jackie Bootstraps (vocals & guitar) and Nick Kennedy (vocals & guitar). The demo, titled "Studio 9 Demo," was released as singles throughout the spring and summer of 2023.

Tower Rats will release their highly anticipated new single, “I Aim to Please,” in May 2025. Make sure to keep an eye out for these seasoned musical veterans as they start performing on stages across California.

In the short time since Tower Rats formed, they have supported surf-punk legends Agent Orange, Marky Ramone of The Ramones, LA garage pop bands Archer Oh and The Band Ice Cream, as well as performed with local Fresno favorites The Sleepover Disaster, Brujoz, Sun Umbra, Dirty Limbs, Mantis Watch, Inspite, and Puppet.
