daniel b is an indie-folk singer-songwriter based in Bratislava, Slovakia. He came onto the local scene with a 5-track EP called "tidal wave" released in 2020 via ZTapes, a (former) Slovak cassette label. The release has got him airplay on Radio FM, the biggest radio in Slovakia focused primarily on indie music. In 2021 he was long-listed for a Newcomer of the Year at the Radio_hlavy awards in Slovakia. Finally, in January 2024 daniel b has released his debut album "songs of youth & innocence", which is a collection of 10 indie-folk tracks full of intimacy, vulnerability and honest storytelling.
daniel b's live shows are an intimate affair, where he sings solo and accompanies himself with an acoustic guitar and goofy humour.
