Inés Cuello Biography
Born in 1989 nearby Buenos Aires, this young and exquisite Argentine singer
unleashes her talent with a unique style: her professional engagement has allowed
her to explore the whole musical possibilities and play with its textures to enhance
every chosen piece, and under that premise the tango has found one of its
greatest allies in her.
Her criteria, sensitivity and solid experience in prestigious worldwide stages, have
made her one of the most versatile voices of the Argentine music as well as an
artist of a great international projection.
She toured Japan, China, Germany, Greece, France, Portugal, Spain, Colombia,
Brazil, Chile, Peru and Argentina, participating in the Buenos Aires International
Tango Festival, the Festitango (Medellín, Colombia) and the Tango al Mayor Festival
(Bogotá, Colombia), and singing at the CCK, Usina del Arte, Teatro Alvear and at the
emblematic Teatro Colón twice. She won the XVII «Hugo del Carril» contest and
released the albums “Sueño de juventud” (2011) and “Canciones del sur” (2015),
being nominated for the Gardel Awards as Best female tango performer for the
last one. Actually, she is recording two new albums in tribute to Carlos Gardel and
Ástor Piazzolla with La Grela Quintet.
