The Rhythm Foundation presents Sonora Tukukuy and very special guests!
The Allapattah-based cumbia collective burst forth in 2023, into the world with rocking house parties, then club nights, and now on to national tours and festivals. The sound of cumbia fuels the engine, contributing to the resurgence of the beloved Latin American folk music for fresh audiences. Through their music and activism, the group (made up of veterans of Miami's popular Latin-funk-rock groups) honors the roots of cumbia, celebrates the pan-Latin culture of our city, and incorporates a cosmopolitan sense that draws in new fans.
