Alejas

“Alejas” is a Riga based trio that drifts between pop music, electronica, hip-hop, and the freedom of the experimental scene. The group consists of Kirils Ēcis, Spāre Vītola, and Reinis Žodžiks – all of whom are also active in other art forms, which is evident in the band's focused approach to video and visual aesthetics, as well as in other projects the trio is involved in – theater, contemporary art, and poetry. Their third studio album, “Goodbye, Ice Age!”, is perfect for dancing alone, in pairs, or in groups – in the half-light of a dance party, in the heart of spring, atop a glacier, in joyful farewells to what’s passing, and in excited anticipation of what’s to come.
