I've been fortunate to see Kirsten Maxwell perform a number of times over the years. Blending exceptional vocal ability with heartfelt narrative moments, her performances are a pleasure to the ear and a balm for the soul. At home in intimate spaces, venues such as these support Kirsten's unique ability to draw audience members into the present moment quickly. Often compared to musical greats like Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell, Maxwell exhibits a quality unlike any other past or current artist, with a unique offering that cannot be compared to anyone–she's in a league of her own. If given the opportunity to see her perform, just do it.
