Keefer & The Romance

Keefer & The Romance is a breath of fresh air. Created and led by Keefer Glenshaw (vocals & electric cello,) the band combines youthful wallowing with hard-earned experience. The shows are eclectic, spontaneous, and gripping, with the traditional rock 5 piece being juiced with jarring distortion and ambient loops on cello. The band is new to the New York scene, but is gaining traction through shows at Bowery Electric, Berlin under A, Arlene's Grocery, and more. Keefer's album, Purity, and subsequent 24 hour performance, was released in September 2024 and reviewed by The Boston Globe, WGBH, and WBZ radio- The Romance is Keefer's current conduit of expression.
