Texas Headhunters Biography
Texas Headhunters is the explosive new band uniting Texas guitar powerhouses Ian Moore, Jesse Dayton, and Johnny Moeller. With deep roots in the blues and decades of hard-earned credibility, they’re pushing American roots music into bold, electric territory.
Ian Moore emerged from Austin in the '90s, opening for the Stones and Dylan before forging a career built on fearless musical reinvention. Jesse Dayton, raised in Beaumont, has backed legends like Waylon Jennings, collaborated with Rob Zombie, and recently earned a Grammy nod for Deathwish Blues with Samantha Fish. Johnny Moeller, a cornerstone of the Antone’s scene and longtime guitarist for The Fabulous Thunderbirds, is celebrated for his impeccable tone and groove.
The band hits the road in June for their debut run with Samantha Fish. Their first album drops this summer—don’t miss what’s coming.
