Coast powerhouse with decades of experience behind the decks. Raised in Los Angeles during the golden era of radio, Oso was inspired by legends like The BakaBoyz, Melo-D, Vice, E-Man, and Mr. Choc—icons whose sound shaped his signature style.
His professional journey kicked off in the early 2000s after relocating to Bakersfield, where he earned his stripes at a local rhythmic radio station. What started as a weekend gig quickly turned into daily prime-time slots, including the coveted 5 o’clock traffic jam and a co-host spot on the morning show. The hustle never stopped.
Fast forward to today, DJ Oso Mighty is a staple across California’s top nightlife destinations. His high-energy sets have rocked clubs
like DB Lounge, Beso, Club Riv, El Chingon San Diego, Proabition, Sevilla (OC & Long Beach), Onyx SD, Louie’s, Casa Tequila, Reforma Palm Springs, and Yaamava Resort—just to name a few.
His talent has also earned him a seasonal residency as the official Perch Suites DJ for the Los Angeles Chargers, making him
a key figure in the intersection of sports and music culture.
On the airwaves, Oso continues to dominate with past features on Cali 93.9, KDAY 93.5, 99.1 KGGI, B95, Rewind 98.1, and more.
He currently hosts his own weekly 1-hour mix show on Pitbull’s Globalization Radio (SiriusXM, Channel 13) every
Thursday at 5PM PST, connecting with listeners around the globe.
