About this concert
Get ready for a powerhouse double bill of rock nostalgia as two of California’s top tribute acts take the stage together for the first time at The Guild Theatre in Menlo Park.
Unauthorized Rolling Stones, fronted by the charismatic Rudy Colombini, deliver a raw, electrifying take on the Rolling Stones catalog. With Colombini channeling the swagger and showmanship of Mick Jagger (having seen the real Stones over 20 times), this band has been thrilling audiences since 2001 with spot-on performances of legendary hits.
Sharing the stage are Strange Daze, a Sonoma-based five-piece band that masterfully recreates the psychedelic magic of The Doors. With lead singer Max Schimm capturing the spirit and intensity of Jim Morrison, they deliver note-perfect renditions spanning all six original Doors albums—deep cuts and classics alike.

What a great time! I've seen this band a few times before, and really like them. Getting to see them outdoors in North Beach was fantastic!

Unauthorized Rolling Stones Biography
Their show holds in reverence many legends of the classic rock years, while maintaining their Rolling Stones core. Colombini’s staggering, Jaggeresque showmanship now engages in a battle of the sexes with a trio of seductive, bluesy backup vocalists. Colombini, who has seen the Rolling Stones live 20 times said. “It’s been a deep drill into little nuances and movement. Frankly, it’s nearly impossible to find a better mentor than Mick Jagger for a performer. He’s an incredible entity.” “It’s a big show,” Colombini added, “A real Rock and Roll event.”
