John Pavas

John Pavas is a DJ, producer, and audio technician, born in Medellín, Colombia. His career began in 2009 under the name "Dezzet". During his early releases, he caught the attention of internationally renowned artists such as Richie Hawtin, Umek, Sam Paganini, and Luigi Madonna, who included his tracks in their sets at various festivals around the world. Since then, he has established himself as an influential figure in the Colombian electronic scene. Known for his innovative approach and his ability to connect with the audience, John has developed a unique style and sound that define his sessions. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of sharing the stage with prominent international artists such as Dennis Ferrer, Stefano Noferini, Mark Reeve, Luca Agnelli, Matthias Tanzmann, Popof, Mat.Joe, Technasia, AJ Christou, and more

In his role as a sound technician, he has worked with the FREEDOM MEDELLIN festival in 2019 and 2020, serving as a roadie and stage manager, ensuring the technical specifications of the participating artists. Additionally, he has shared his knowledge as a trainer at ADVANCE, a specialization program in live and hybrid formats at the AUDIO AND SOUND SCHOOL OF COLOMBIA based in Medellin.
