One Man Boycott Biography
One Man Boycott is a UK pop-punk/rock project created by Joe Brewer, based in the country’s South West. Originally a solo project, it quickly exploded to a full band experience. Brewer's blending of pop-punk energy with emo undertones and consistently hook-laden songwriting earned tracks like "If Only You’d Stay," "Stockholm Swing," and "Sick Of It All" (from debut album Counting the Seconds, produced by Grammy-nominated Romesh Dodangoda) high praise from across the scene and wider industry. The band's live show and recorded work drew praise from Rock Sound as “anthemic” and “one hell of a good time.”
Following the debut release and a few tough years personally. Joe returned in late 2020 with a growing focus, fuelled by releasing a series of introspective singles through 2023, regaining the support of BBC Introducing in the process.
Now in 2025, One Man Boycott is back on the road with full-band and acoustic shows across the UK and EU. Despite dealing with a close family loss the brand new album "Face For Radio" and all-original acoustic EP "Singing Songs, Saving Lives" are both on the way in late '25, marking a turning point and bookend moment in the bands evolution before we all step into 'Boycott 2.0, set to begin in 2026.
