Kutie is a rising force in the modern rock scene, known for their explosive guitar work, raw emotion, and unforgettable live performances. Formed in 2023, this powerhouse duo is made up of sibling duo Ellie Gonzalez (20, lead vocals) and Gavin Gonzalez (16, drums, bass, guitars). Together, they bring an unfiltered energy to the stage that’s both fresh and nostalgic.
Blending influences from iconic bands like Paramore, Hole, Smashing Pumpkins, and My Chemical Romance, Kutie delivers a sound that’s equal parts grit and melody, fusing alternative rock, grunge, and post-hardcore elements into something uniquely their own. Their music is driven by Ellie’s dynamic, emotionally charged vocals and Gavin’s multi-instrumental talent.
Kutie has already made a name for themselves across California, igniting stages throughout the Central Valley and beyond. Locally, they’ve rocked Porch Fest, Rogue Festival, Vintage Days, The Whole Vine Festival, and renowned venues like Full Circle Brewery, Sequoia Brewing, and Skyline Bar and Grill. Their momentum has taken them further south, with standout shows at legendary venues including Whisky A Go Go, The Viper Room, House of Blues Anaheim, The Redwood in Downtown LA, and Universal Bar & Grill in Hollywood.
Their growing resume includes sharing the stage with national touring acts such as Eyes Set to Kill, The Broken View, Lightworker, Go Betty Go, The Dollyrots, and Red Star. They've also collaborated and performed with a strong network of local bands including Hillblocksview, One Hot Minute, Pirate Radio, Max Headroom, JNX, and Exvamon.
Kutie’s self-titled debut EP *Kutie* dropped on September 21st across all major streaming platforms, receiving praise for its raw intensity, tight musicianship, and authentic lyricism. The release marks just the beginning of what promises to be a thrilling journey for the band.
